—The 14th Saigon International Autotech & Accessories 2018 was held from May 24th to 27th at Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC), 799 Nguyen Van Linh Street, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City. —

As one of the most prestigious specialized exhibitions having longest history in the automobile, motorcycle, electric bike and supporting industry in Vietnam, this year, the exhibition is held on a scale of 10,000 sqm with the participation of 205 enterprises from Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, China, Taiwan, Vietnam…etc. More than 300 booths in the field of automobiles, motorcycles, electric bikes and spare parts displayed the latest products and attracted 12,600 visitors during the 4-day show.

One of the key activities of Saigon Autotech 2018 is the seminar on "Supporting Industry – A golden key for the development of Vietnam automobile industry" with the aim at updating information on Governmental policies related to supporting industry in particular and automobile industry in general. The seminar is organized by the cooperation of the Organizing Board with Vietnam Association for Supporting Industries (VASI) and Vinfast Manufacturing and Trading Company. The seminar also has the participation of representatives from the Ministry of Industry and Trade, typical enterprises in the automobile industry, supporting industries, policy makers, related associations, press agencies and exhibitors at Saigon Autotech… At the seminar, the attendants will not only have opportunity to approach governmental policies on developing supporting industries for automobile industry but also have a chance to listen and learn about the current situation, difficulties and challenges of enterprises in this industry, especially they can see synchronous and long-term models for reference such as VINFAST's model.
Not only displaying, introducing different products, the exhibition is also a useful forum for enterprises, domestic and foreign partners to meet, cooperate, exchange, share experiences and promote products through "Business Matching" event. This event will take place in May, from 25th to 27th 2018 within the framework of the exhibition. At the event, the Organizing Board will support the venue and private activities upon exhibitors’ request.
One of the new points of Saigon Autotech this year is that the Organizing Committee has been making great efforts to seek and increase the interests of exhibitors and trade visitors such as: cooperating with restaurants and hotels around the exhibition area to negotiate the preferential price up to 30-40% for customers who want to eat, stay during the show; cooperating with Grab to assist in travelling for exhibitors and visitors, as well as many competitions and attractive lucky draws.
2018 Car Audio Contest (EMMA), 2018 Drift Competition
Following the success of the "Car Audio Contest 2017", at Saigon Autotech & Accessories 2018, the organizing board has cooperated with Xuyen Viet Automobile Company (www.otosaigon.com) to organize "Car Audio Contest 2018" (EMMA). Cars after being refined the sound are like the "Moving Theater" which will be displayed and performed during the exhibition. At EMMA 2018, there will be more than 20 audio refined cars competed in 05 categories, from entry level for new players to professional players… The car audio categories with international standards (EMMA) will be performed, competed and marked in accordance with international standards and will be announced at the show on May 26th 2018.
This is also the first time in Saigon Autotech & Accessories 2018 the “Drift Competition 2018" – Season 1: Drift & Stunt show has been held by the cooperation of Wit Tuning and Trainghiemxe.vn, autocarvietnam.vn. This event is expected to attract more than 20 individuals and 05 professional drift teams in Vietnam to compete in individual and team. Besides, any visitor who loves adventurous Drift sports and owns a car will be eligible to apply for practice and experience under the guidance of the leading Drifters in Vietnam during 4 days at the exhibition.
